Cue R Codes:  your next right step, one breath a a time.

RELIEF

WHEN YOU FEEL OVERWHELMED BY THE NEXT STEP.

Let the next step be embarrassingly small.

Overwhelm means your brain is trying to do too much at once. Shrinking the step gives your nervous system room to breathe. Small is not failure — small is how momentum begins.

The 10‑Second Move

  1. Set a 10‑second timer.

  2. Do anything related to the task.

  3. When the timer ends, you’re done.

Your First Cue R Code

One Breath.  One move.

When you don't know what the next move should be.

Choose the next move that feels smallest.

When everything feels unclear, your mind is trying to choose too much at once. Letting the next move be the smallest one gives your system something gentle to follow. Small moves create clarity — not pressure.

  • Ask yourself: “What’s the smallest move I can take right now?”

  • Choose it.

  • Take 10 seconds to begin it.

Your First Cue R Code

One Breath.  One move.

When you want to keep going but feel mentally tired.

Slow down until your mind feels safe again.

Mental tiredness is your mind asking for gentleness, not more effort. Slowing down gives your system space to breathe again. You don’t lose momentum by resting — you protect it.

  • Tell yourself: “I’m done for tonight.”

  • Take one slow breath.

  • Walk away gently.

  • This is the kindest possible move.
